one main issue with new HID lights is that they’re incompatible with the older cars produced with head lamps.  If such a car is what you have, the only solution you can take to upgrade your head lamps is to use one of the hid kits.  HID kits are collections of parts which you need to convert the old halogen head lamp of your car into a HID head lamp.  These are sold together with a user’s manual for you to be able to make it yourself.  Almost all car models out there have HID kits.  HID kits usually contain HID ballast, wires, clamps, screws, HID bulbs so that you can do the conversion easily even without the help of professionals.

The most important part of the kit is the HID bulb.  The color temperature is the main difference between bulbs.  There is a range of 3000 Kelvins – 12000 kelvins you can choose from.  The different color temperature result in the different light color.  The 3000K results in golden yellow color.  The 12000K results in a purple blue color.  There are other’s which result in crystal white, bright light, aqua blue and crystal blue color.  In countries like Canada, Japan and US, HID kits are huge success.
